Antler Thumbstick on blackthorn shaft

This stylish, long stick is fitted with an antler V-shaped handle, to be carried with the thumb resting in the V.   The shaft is made from blackthorn wood, a great traditional favourite, highly esteemed for its rich colouring and knobbly appearance.  

Fitted with a metal ferrule.
